Grillo is a wine that comes from the collection of white grapes of Grillo vine. Grillo is a native Sicilian vine, known for its ability to produce high quality wines with distinctive aromatic characteristics. Grillo is a white grape variety mainly cultivated in Sicily. It is known for its resistance to high temperatures and drought, typical characteristics of the Sicilian climate.
Wines produced with Grillo grapes tend to have a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. To the nose, they offer aromatic notes of citrus, exotic fruit and white flowers, with a slight herbaceous nuance. On the palate, they are generally fresh, with a good acidity and a medium body, which makes them pleasant and versatile.
Grillo is a pure white table wine. Given its versatility, it goes perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, fresh cheeses and salads. Its freshness and aromatic notes also make it a good aperitif.
Our winery follows traditional production methods, combined with modern techniques to ensure the quality of our wines. The harvest of the grapes is usually manual, and the vinification takes place storing them for 3 months carefully in steel tanks before sale, to preserve the natural aromas and flavors of the Grillo grape.
This wine well represents the Sicilian wine tradition, offering a taste experience that reflects the territory and climate of the region.
