Malvasia is a family of ancient and widespread vines, originating in the Mediterranean region and cultivated mainly in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. These vines are used to produce a wide range of wines, both white and red, and are particularly appreciated for their versatility and aromatic characteristics.
The Malvasia liqueur wine is a dessert wine with a deep and fascinating scent and a golden and brilliant color. Its indistinguishable taste invades the palate and thanks to its deep sweetness, it softens the senses and makes it a very appreciated wine almost by all those who have the opportunity to taste it.
Malvasia wine is known for its intense and complex aroma, which includes notes of flowers, tropical fruits, citrus, honey and spices. In sweet wines, as in this case, aromas can be even more concentrated and rich.
Malvasia is ideal with desserts such as fruit cakes, biscuits, dry pastries, and sweets made with almonds or honey. Also perfect with blue and spicy cheeses. It is a very versatile wine because it can be combined with different dishes.
In addition, the Malvasia wine is great to sip at the end of a meal for a sweet and enveloping conclusion.
